Cooking & Baking
i want to preface this page with this disclaimer: i am not a cook. i am not a chef. i'm an okay baker and my only experience with mixology is when i trained to be a bartender at the restaurant i worked at for like two weeks before my manager moved me back to the host stand because i wouldn't look anyone in the eyes. point is, if you're trying to be the next Gordon Ramsay then this is the wrong place to be. i made this page to share recipes that i have personally used to help get through really tough spots. like, i have 20 dollars for groceries until i get paid next type of spots. the cost of groceries here in the states is fucking abysmal, so i'm doing my part to help.
General Tips
- buying ingredients in bulk is not always the best way to buy. if you have limited space or funds, or if you know you won't use enough of it to justify buying a lot at a time. plus sometimes the price per ounce is MORE than the small version. always double check.
- most large grocery stores have apps with app-exclusive deals in them. USE THAT TO YOUR ADVANTAGE !!! i bought a 2-ltr bottle of soda for 97¢ today with an online coupon.
