the original plan for this one was originally to have this on the big part of the back of my hand, although truthfully it was a very last minute tattoo. id wanted it for a while, but i only went in for this one because an old friend of mine got a job as one of the artists there !!! so i walked in for it on a day i knew she was there. and she actually suggested the placement :0 we caught up after 7 years about our lives, ate pizza, and she gave me one of my favorite tats. its a superman S symbol, but in kryptonian. superman is one of my favorite heroes, so it only made sense. if you didn't know, hand tats are one of the hardest to heal and i found this out because my hand tattoo is a bit faded on the right side because it didn't heal quite right.

the only tattoo i have that was done by someone other than my main artist. this one takes a couple superlatives. for one, it was my most expensive tattoo. i paid around $400 including the initial $100 deposit (+ a $30 tip), but with how amazing the shading and general detail is it was 100% worth it. it was also the tattoo that hurt the most. most of my tattoos are on my arms, so i dont have the greatest diversity of tattoo pain but it was definitely the most painful so far.
