the angular roughshark is a species of rough sharks (triangular medium-sized sharks with rough skin) that feed off of small crustaceans and mollusks on the floor of the continental shelf. they're triangular, snotty, and possibly one of the most adorable sharks of all time. despite not being a sought-after fish by fisherman, they're often caught in nets unintentionally and don't ever survive after being rereleased, making them an endangered species :((
they're referred to as "pig-faced" due to their flat snouts and i can only hope that it's used affectionately. they have large denticles (aka scales) that makes them almost look fuzzy, which only adds to their adorable look.
