[09.05.25] Flix / Nerve Rot / Vanished / Beautiful Freaks @ 7 PM
i hadn't previously known about any of these bands prior to the show (as i typically do), so i listened to a bit of the openers songs. and they were pretty good, although im not typically a growl-y metal person. Beautiful Freaks, however, i absolutely adored. ive been obsessed with Loser Sellouts since i heard it, and im so glad i caught them live. i got to the show like an hour late, so i missed Flix but ill try and catch them one of these times. Nerve Rot played such a good show, great moshing music. Vanished was super sick live, encouraged a lot of classic metal moshing which i always love. i got a compliment on my LBP banana tattoo (which i always enjoy) and me and this other person bonded over our loathing on shirtless moshing double-standards. on my way home a guy told me he loved my outfit and we talked for a minute before he told me he makes music !!! his bandlab is here if you want to check it out :3c. i got a lot of bruises and scratches on my forearms, and fell down multiple times, which was SO FUN !!!! i was having second thoughts earlier in the day cause my head was hurting a bit but im so glad i went out :)
