"He's Literally Me" / Kin List

NAME? Charlie Kelly
FROM? It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005)
NOTES he's so stupid and naive and greasy and a little gay and yet so yearnful, he is literally me fr fr ong

NAME? Ronald 'Mac' McDonald
FROM? It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005)
NOTES another sunny one, i know, but hes sexually repressed and raised religious and does martial arts and gay and we even have the same haircut?? he's literally me

NAME? Plum
FROM? Copycats (20??)
NOTES this one's a bit more niche, but the story behind Plum is so eerily similar to my gender story. in the artist pyink_jupiter's own words,
"so a gay boy gets placed in a girls body, and so far the perks are nice! gay boy doesn't have to fear, he can play dress up in pink glittery princess dresses all he wants. he can experiment with makeup, he can make gal pals and have sleepovers at his girl besties place. the experience of femininity has always been a joy and perk to plum, plain and simple. but eventually he hits puberty. when your body changes people look at you different and the slight discomfort sprouted from perceptions. all of that mixed with the cruelty of sexism and misogyny. it hit him hard late highschool realizing something didn't feel right. but it didn't come from a physical dysphoria. it came from societal perception"
(and he's a leo)

NAME? [1980s-era] Garfield
FROM? Garfield (1976)
NOTES he's lazy and loves coffee and hates mondays and attached to his plushie and so goofy FUCKKKK and he's so tboy coded i love him he's literally me

NAME? Christine 'Lady Bird' McPherson
FROM? Lady Bird (2017)
NOTES it's like a mirror to how i was and my relationship to my mom before i came out and our relationship inevitably severed. lady bird has such a naiveté to her that reminds me of how i was as a young person. i think especially her relationship to Timothée Chalamet's character (i don't remember his name) reflects myself and inexperience stemming from my aro identity and subsequent lack of dating.
